Intellectually and Emotionally Compromised

Get them while they're young.

The following is my morning thoughtful posting to social media:
How might I best describe my “life” circumstance? Perhaps by presenting an imaginary setting.

Imagine yourself plowing the field, walking behind the plow, pulled by the horse. You stop for a moment, and wonder, “what was that?”

“What was that?” (That was me! While you were walking behind your plow, I just flew through your airspace at Mach 10.)

If I come back and land, and tried to explain my world to you, your reality will be so frightened and threatened that you will destroy me.

The common thread observed over a lifetime. Two very common responses. “Why do you have to overthink everything?” “I don’t like the way you think!”

The following current event, another opportunity for divided peoples to sensationalize.

Here are a few random lines from a variety of Internet sources.

In an Instagram bio, he summed himself up as “Pizza, guns, drums, music, family, and God. It’s a pretty good life.” His bond with his parents frayed; on the night before the shootings, they threw him out of their house, according to police. Christian leaders wrestle with Atlanta shooting suspect’s Southern Baptist ties. Atlanta spa ‘shooter’ Robert Aaron Long is ‘God and gun-loving’ pastor’s son.

Where does it all begin? It begins at the earliest age. It begins far earlier than that. It begins with the founding of a nation and a constitution. No, it begins far earlier than that. It begins from the earliest time commonly known as colonialism. No, it begins earlier than that; it begins with institutional and systemic behaviours, as far back as the early footprints of what we label today as “Christianity”.

Throughout many countries, the establishment of private schooling within faith based segments of society. Far back in history, the Greeks established a formidable empire. The standard breakfast of removing the young male individuals from the family atmosphere and placing them in compounds. What can we take away from this practice? Perhaps the broad overview that empathy and compassion that naturally develops in our species, can be truncated, subsequently replaced with selective behaviours beneficial to furthering the boundaries of Empire. This is exactly what faith run schools accomplish today. Christian schools have one sole purpose, maintain membership, and establishment of a structure for future recruitment. Simply the extension and continuation of colonialism. The continual pressure to establish a social reality without geopolitical boundaries or limitations. A global theocracy for our entire species.

As a species, across all cultures, we need to allow for the natural development of the human mind. A standardized curriculum based on peer review, and critical thinking. We must equally serve all cultures and ethnic diversities- standardize the education of all our young people.
