Question “EVERYTHING”, the truths of our ancestors were simply the “BEST” that they could determine. Move forward with new knowledge, and new understanding… Our ancestors did the best they could with what was “common knowledge” during their time. This is not “sacred”. Sacred infers that the conclusion is not allowed for a new evaluation. We can not move forward without “new understanding” based on new information. We WILL KNOW BETTER as the century progresses. We “should” allow for this natural progression. Our future existence is critically hinged on “knowing more”. Ancient “teachings” as “inherent truths”, before the “knowing” of the microbial world and it’s diversity as the “insanity” / “faith” of many social groups. We must step back and recognize these social circumstances.
